Motorcycle Rentals in Bilbao and San Sebastian

Home > Motorcycle Rentals in Spain > Rentals in Bilbao

The rental companies located in San Sebastian exclusively rent out scooters (in Spain, they call scooters motos), but Bilbao, only an hour away, serves the Basque Country region. Several larger rental companies with locations in the major cities in Spain and Portugal are your best bet, like IMTBike. They offer fair prices and have multiple locations in case pick up/drop off are at different locations.

If you plan on touring the Pyrenees, Bilbao, Barcelona or Girona are good places to consider as starting points. Each city has rental companies, but Barcelona has a greater number of options than the other locations. You can ride from Barcelona to Bilbao to cover the entire Pyrenees mountain range. And both cities have international airports with easy flights between the U.K. or E.U. Refer our route guide to the Best Roads in Northern Spain to help with the research of your next trip, or simply upload our self-guided tour of the Pyrenees into your mobile or GPS device.

Travelbike

Locations: Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Alicante, Malaga, Seville, Lisbon

This company doesn’t have the greatest reviews on Tripadvisor and very few reviews. They are by far the cheapest option, but I would proceed with caution. Some reviews cite poor service; however, this may relate to their tour offerings rather than their rental services. If you are only renting for 1-3 days, this company may be sufficient. And they run a 3 for 2 deal, where you get a three-day weekend rental for the price of two days.

Eagle Rider

Locations: Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Alicante, Malaga, Seville

This is an American company with locations across America and Europe, so it’s difficult to attribute the reviews and ratings to any one location. We personally prefer the regional operators, but that still have several locations within the country like IMTBIke or VivaMoto. They also are fairer on rental costs; Eaglerider is considerably more expensive than its counterparts. Also, their pick-up location isn’t an Eaglerider branded shop, it seems as if they outsource their rental operations to a local shop, so from a customer service standpoint, I could imagine some difficulty.

  • Tripadvisor Rating: 4.0 on 350+ reviews
